Sterling Archer has one final batch of spy missions to complete in the upcoming fourteenth and final season of Archer.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, FX recently announced that Archer's upcoming 14th season would also be the hit animated spy comedy's last. The show will return on FXX on Aug. 30 with a two-episode premiere. Both episodes will then be available to stream on Hulu the following day. Created by Adam Reed, Archer premiered on FX in 2009 as a parody of popular spy films and television series. The popular animated, half-hour comedy series primarily follows Sterling Archer as he navigates the changing landscape of the spy world.

The announcement comes despite the fact FX never formally announced a Season 14 renewal for the series. However, Chris Parnell, who voices intelligence accountant-turned-field agent Cyril Figgis in the show, previously hinted back in January that Archer has been renewed for more episodes following the conclusion of Season 13 in October 2022. "We've just started recording Season 14, so it remains to be seen what else is gonna happen," said Parnell after being asked to share any information about Archer's future.

Who Voices the World's Greatest Spy?

H. Jon Benjamin returns as the voice of Sterling Archer, the world's greatest spy. The rest of the series' main ensemble cast includes Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane; Judy Greer as Cheryl/Carol Tunt, Parnell as Cyril Figgis, Amber Nash as Pam Poovey, Adam Reed as Ray Gillette and Lucky Yates as Algernop Krieger. Season 14 will also feature Natalie Dew as the gang’s new super-agent, Zara Khan.

FX also released an official description for the final season, which reads as follows: "Archer and The Agency are finding their own way with Lana at the helm. Her goal is to make money while also making the world a better place, but she quickly finds out running a spy agency isn’t so cut and dry."
