Released in November 2021, Arcane quickly became a well-received sensation, not just because of it being based on the popular video game League of Legends, but because it became its own entity, with incredible story-telling, captivating animation, and stellar voice-acting.
While they may have never foreseen the success that the show has garnered from its first season, Riot Games and Fortiche's project was still able to secure an impressive array of talent, with several of the actors having recognizable voices from other movies, video games, or television shows. Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld had quite the 2021 with her induction and introduction into the MCU as Kate Bishop in Hawkeye, but she also voiced the headstrong and formidable Vi in Arcane. Steinfeld had already made a name for herself back in 2010 with her role as Mattie Ross in True Grit.
Steinfeld has since tallied up quite the resume with roles in the Pitch Perfect franchise, the Bumblebee movie, voicing Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and playing the titular character of Emily Dickinson in the television series Dickinson. 8 Yuri Lowenthal Is Sasuke, Peter Parker & Mylo
Yuri Lowenthal has quite the resume when it comes to voice acting, from English dubs of anime to various video game franchises. In terms of television and anime appearances, Lowenthal may well be best recognized for his voicing of Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto, with it often being the first role of his to come to mind. He also voices Mercury Black in Rooster Teeth's RWBY and the protagonist of Dota: Dragon's Blood, Davion.
Lowenthal is also the voice of Peter Parker in the successful Spider-Man video game franchise, with Spider-Man 2 set for release in 2023. In Arcane, he voices Mylo, the friend of Vi and Powder who meets an untimely end in the third episode of the first season. While he doesn't have too many lines, the voice is still easily recognizable.

While most of Arcane's more chaotic and captivating storylines center around the undercity, namely with Jinx, Vi, and Silco, Jayce's journey from cocky inventor fresh from the Academy to becoming the driving force behind Piltover's resurgence and journey into the future is still compelling.
The voice of Jayce is provided by Kevin Alejandro, who has appeared in a whole host of popular television series over the years. As well as his best-known roles as Detective Daniel Espinoza in Lucifer, Jesus Velazquez in True Blood, and Sebastian Blood in Arrow, Alejandro has also appeared in episodes of Sons of Anarchy, Heroes, and NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigation Service to name just a few.

Mel is voiced by Toks Olagundoye, with the Nigerian actress having voiced characters in a whole host of animated shows and games, from Telltale's Game of Thrones video game to Carmen Sandiego and DuckTales. She voiced Zamfir in Netflix's adaptation of Castlevania and appeared in a handful of episodes of The Rookie, as Professor Fiona Ryan.
5 Mick Wingert Is The Wise Heimerdinger & The Unfortunate Iron Man In What If...?
For those fans of Arcane that never really played the League of Legends game, the lack of non-humans introduced in the first season makes Heimerdinger's introduction as a Yordle all the more intriguing. Heimerdinger has almost infinite wisdom from around three centuries of life, experience, and regret.
He is voiced by Mick Wingert, who has become a mainstay in voice acting with him often moving between video games and animated series. He voices Tony Stark in the animated series What If...? in which the beloved Iron Man often finds himself dying in each of the alternate realities. Wingert also took over voicing Kung-Fu Panda's Po from Jack Black for the franchise's television series. The variety in different roles and character allows Wingert to showcase his excellent versatility and range.
4 Army Of The Dead's Ella Purnell Brings The Chaos With Jinx
Jinx is undoubtedly the most complex and conflicted character in the Arcane series, stemming from her traumatic past, from becoming orphaned after the death of her parents, to having her sister Vi abandon her after she inadvertently kills their friends in an explosion.
She is adopted by the villain of the show, Silco, and transforms into the troubled character of Jinx, leaving her past as Powder behind. Ella Purnell brings the wackiness to the character with stellar voice acting, perfectly capturing her tortured emotions and conflictions. Purnell has starred in Netflix's Army of the Dead as Kate, Yellowjackets, Belgravia and she was Emma in Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children.
3 Harry Lloyd Links Viserys Targaryen & Arcane's Viktor
Viktor is one of several conflicted characters in the Netflix series of Arcane, with him helping Jayce to further his studies and execution of Hextech, albeit with the ulterior motive of ultimately curing his own ailments. Viktor is voiced by Harry Lloyd, who despite the accent he puts on for his Arcane character, can still be recognized as being Daenerys Targaryen's brother Viserys in Game of Thrones.
The English actor has also appeared in the BBC series of Robin Hood, two episodes of Doctor Who, and had a main role in Brave New World, working alongside Alden Ehrenreich.
