As reviews continue to trickle in online, Aquaman has received its official score from review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.

The latest DCEU film currently has a score of 75 percent on the site, initially peaking at 79 percent when the review embargo on the film was lifted yesterday before dropping to its current score. The rating reflects 64 professional critics' reviews, 48 favorable/fresh reviews and 16 negative/rotten ones.

This puts the film firmly as the second highest ranked DCEU film on the site, behind last year's Wonder Woman which has a critics' score of 93 percent. Last year's Justice League fared much worse with a score of 40 percent while the third highest ranked film is 2013's Man of Steel at 56 percent.

Aquaman is already making a big splash overseas with a record-breaking weekend at the Chinese box office where it opened this past Thursday night. It will have a limited theatrical run this weekend at select theaters in the United States for Amazon Prime members before its wide release next week.
