Following months of persistent rumors, Warner Bros. finally may be ready to release the first trailer for Aquaman relatively soon.

The film wrapped production in October, and since then, reports have run rampant as to when the first trailer might arrive. Rumors originally suggested a trailer would be screened in February at WonderCon, but director James Wan was quick to throw cold water on those. Despite speculation that the studio had pulled the trailer from its presentation, Wan explained it was never part of the plan. Now, according to Variety, it appears both Wan and Warner Bros. are finally ready to showcase the first footage from Aquaman sometime this week.

The news was revealed in Variety's coverage of the Warner Bros. CineEurpoe presentation Monday in Barcelona. Along with footage from films such as A Star is Born and the long-delayed Mowgli, the studio also previewed Aquaman. According to the outlet, "the trailer was previewed at CineEurope before its release in the next few days." While that's not a concrete date, it confirms a trailer is coming sometime this week. As to when and how? That remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure, the first Aquaman trailer is finally on its way.
