The first scene was the film's prologue as Nicole Kidman's Atlanna is rescued by lighthouse keeper Thomas Curry (Temuera Morrison) before the couple fall in love and conceive a son, Arthur. As Atlanteans come in pursuit of their missing queen, she defeats them before returning to the ocean world forever to keep her lover and infant son safe.

A second scene featured a tense moment between Amber Heard's Mera and Patrick Wilson's Orm before Jason Momoa's entrance as Aquaman leading to a bitter confrontation between the two half-brothers.

The final scene described was an extended look at Arthur and Mera entering the desert bantering about the barren conditions as they search for a mysterious Atlantean artifact.

With varying relationship dynamics at the heart of each scene, Aquaman stands the chance of becoming the most emotional DCEU film to date.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, and Dolph Lundgren as Nereus. The film is scheduled to make a big splash in theaters on December 21.
