With a spring production start right around the corner, the cast of DC/WB's upcoming "Aquaman" solo film has started to train for the superhero movie's action sequences. Earlier this week we saw Amber Heard (who will play Aquaman's partner Mera) show off her swordplay skills. We also saw Jason Momoa, Aquaman himself, let loose against a group of combatants in a training session.

Now a new photo from Momoa's training session has emerged. Taken at 87eleven Action Design in Los Angeles, a training ground for stuntmen and action directors, the new photo shows Momoa and Aquaman's trademark trident.

The trident is the same one we've seen in photos and movies so far; just compare it to the one you see in the above Aquaman image.

Directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Amber Heard (Mera), Patrick Wilson (Orm) and Willem Dafoe (Nuidis Vulko), “Aquaman” swims into theaters on October 5, 2018. Aquaman will next be seen in “Justice League,” which opens on November 17.
