in a likely attempt to tide us over until the film's trailer debut at comic-con international in san diego, aquaman director james wan has offered a photographic glimpse of an underwater action scene from his dc films superhero flick.
in a post to instagram highlighting a funko pop! vinyl that captures the director's likeness rather accurately, wan snuck in a photo of an action scene featuring -- what looks like -- two underwater dwellers in a fight for survival.

while the fighter on the right seems to be wearing traditional atlantean armor, not too dissimilar to patrick wilson's ocean master, the character on the left is noticeably without armor. it's unclear if that's jason momoa's arthur curry/aquaman on the left, but we imagine if it is, he's likely under attack from one of king nereus' (dolph lundgren) xebel soldiers or a fighter under the command of orm and vulko (willem dafoe).
