The first-look trailers released at Comic-Con International for the new seasons of Doctor Who and Iron Fist may have disappointed fans with their brevity, but there will be no such complaints with Aquaman.

On the eve of its eagerly anticipated premiere in Hall H, we have confirmation that the first trailer for the Warner Bros. film won't be a mere teaser. According to Trailer Track, it boasts an approved run time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. That should be plenty of time to take in the sights of Atlantis and soak in more of the plot details.

The studio's marketing machine turned on the spigot this week for Aquaman, rolling out interviews with the stars and director James Wan, and revealing the first poster, merchandising tie-ins and even a close-up look at the film's answer to Storm, the giant seahorse: enormous, fearsome sea dragons.

We also got the first official synopsis, promising an "action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas." We know Aquaman will pit Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry against his half-brother King Orm (Patrick Wilson), an “eco-warrior” who plots a war against the surface dwellers as revenge for centuries of pollution. To stop him, Arthur will have to unite the seven kingdoms of Atlantis, and possibly ascend the throne.
