With James Wan's Aquaman surfing into theaters in about 10 months, it's only a matter of time before Warner Bros. launches the promotional campaign for Jason Momoa's return as Arthur Curry. However, it appears fans may not have to wait too long for the first trailer to arrive.
Composer Carlos Villalobos Jr. has posted a photo on Instragram showing that he's working on the music for an Aquaman trailer, calling the occasion "trailer scoring heaven." Despite numerous comments from fans attempting to glean additional information, Villalobos didn't reveal when we might expect the trailer's debut.
News surrounding the solo movie has been understandably scarce. It was only recently revealed that the film's villain, Black Manta, will indeed be wearing his iconic, and incredibly large, helmet. Set after the events of Justice League, the film sees Aquaman come to grips with his heritage and his role as king of Atlantis. Not only that, he'll have to stop a brewing war.
Arriving in theaters on Dec. 21, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temeura Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Ludi Lin, Michael Beach, Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe.
