In a little more than a month, Aquaman arrives in theaters, marking the first solo film starring DC's underwater superhero.

As marketing ramps up for the DC Extended Universe film, seven posters have been released, each spotlighting a different major character and providing the best look yet at up close.

The character posters feature Jason Momoa's Aquaman in his classic outfit; Amber Heard's Mera; Nicole Kidman's Queen Atlanna; the first clear look at Willem Dafoe's Vulko and Dolph Lundgren's King Nereus; and antagonists in Patrick Wilson's Black Manta and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta, both dressed for battle.

Post-production was completed over the weekend, with director James Wan announcing the end of the project in an Instagram post. With the new character posters unveiled, it's clear that the production has at least recaptured the look of the characters from the comics, at least visually.
