Thanks to the creative team at Darth Blender, the DC filmverse trailer of Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry being torn between two worlds has now gotten the animated treatment using footage from Hanna-Barbera's Super Friends cartoon from the '70s and '80s.

The clip is sharply edited and uses the lighthearted footage from the beloved series, but set to the same voiceover from Momoa and the epic music from Wan's trailer. It also splices in footage from the Aquaman cartoon in the late '60s, including Aquaman meeting his parents, as well as his battles with his underwater kin. As for the sea dragons, well, this time we get him on sea-horses, as opposed to the monstrous creatures Wan is planning to unleash on the Worlds of DC on the big screen.

The trailer ends with the hero swan-diving from Wonder Woman's invisible jet to cap a deep dive down nostalgia lane, bringing even more humor to folks already hyped to see the King of Atlantis take the throne later this year.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry and Dolph Lundgren as Nereus. The film is scheduled to make a big splash in theaters Dec. 21.
