Yesterday, Aquaman director James Wan teased the official unveiling of Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry in his classic comics-accurate uniform, though it was unclear whether it would be in a photo or a new trailer.

As it turns out, both guesses would have been accurate. In addition to debuting a 5-minute video loaded with new footage from the anticipated DC film, Warner Bros. has released the first official photo of Momoa's regal Justice Leaguer in an outfit that's been ripped straight from DC Comics.

While this isn't the debut seen the costume, until now, we've only been shown photos of toys and statues, and pieces of concept art. This hi-res image is the first photo we've seen of Momoa actually wearing the classic suit, and it surely does not disappoint.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
