Hot Toys has just revealed a look at its newest Aquaman figure, putting Jason Momoa's version of DC's underwater hero into the character's classic garb. The gold and green scale armor are familiar, but the classic blonde locks have been replaced with Momoa's signature flowing dark hair and beard.

The 1/6th scale figure stands approximately 13 inches tall, with over 30 points of articulation. For comparison, the Wonder Woman piece from this line is about 11.4 inches tall. The Aquaman figure will include three sets of hands to choose from, one gold-colored Trident with engravings, and he stands atop a coral reef style base.

Momoa's Atlantean royalty was sculpted and painted by artists So Young, Lee and JC. Hong, who worked on most of Hot Toys' other DC Movie figures. The wide release for the movie-accurate figure is slated for the second half of 2019.

The Aquaman movie releases this week (December 21), and stars Jason Momoa in the title role. Additionally, Amber Heard will play Mera. The cast also includes Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. The film is directed by horror movie staple James Wan.
