One of the most enduring aspects of the Aquaman mythos is Arthur Curry's longstanding antagonistic relationship with the DC Comics supervillain Black Manta. An extended TV spot from the upcoming DCEU film confirms the two character will definitely come to blows on screen.
In the new clip, Arthur and Mera are confronted by the comic-accurate looking villain and his similarly armored men on the outskirts of a seaside town. As Aquaman confronts Black Manta, Mera leads Manta's henchmen across a rooftop chase as she makes her way back to the sea.

"Who the hell are you?" growls Jason Momoa's Aquaman just before Manta unleashes his powerful optic blast from his imposing helmet.
Judging by other clips glimpsed in the TV spot, the fight doesn't stay on dry land as Aquaman is seen battling one of Black Manta's men underwater in the wreckage of a sunken ship. Additional scenes show Arthur's half-brother Orm also sporting a comic-accurate look as he leads an undersea army while even Nicole Kidman's Atlanna gets in on the action fighting several Atlantean soldiers off with a trident.
