Aquaman Movie Fans Launch An 'Orm Did Nothing Wrong' Subreddit

As Aquaman continues to win over audiences around the world, the film's principal antagonist, Orm, has garnered his fair share of supporters.

Fans of the DCEU film have launched a forum on Reddit defending the DC villain's actions in the movie, including his attack on the surface world and plan to unite the seven undersea kingdoms as Ocean Master. Under the heading "Orm did nothing wrong," the subreddit has fans post their justifications for Orm's mission with images from the film.

The subreddit is similar to one launched this past summer defending the actions of Avengers: Infinity War villain Thanos. The forum later purged half of its participants in cheeky reflection of its subject's climactic snap.

While it is unknown if the Orm subreddit will do anything to mirror its antagonistic inspiration, it does match actor Patrick Wilson's views on his character who earlier declared Orm's actions "completely understandable."
