Aquaman Costume Fitting Photo Offers Detailed Look at Orm's Early Armor

The Aquaman movie showcased a variety of detailed costume designs worn by its Atlantean characters, and especially the underwater royals such as Orm and Mera had multiple imaginative outfits. Now Ironhead Studio, the effects firm that worked on Aquaman's costumes, has shared a photo showing an early form of Orm's golden armor.

The photo shows actor Patrick Wilson posing in the costume Orm wore as the King of Atlantis. This early version of the armor is still missing the golden headpiece and silver pitchfork seen in the movie, which also featured a version that included a flowing cape and silver details.

"We built and painted the armor elements for this suit as well as most all of the armor for his other looks and two of his helmets. Soft goods and finishing was done on location in Australia. All props go to Costume Designer Kym Barrett and Director James Wan for the design."

Aquaman is currently available in digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
