Can Aquaman talk to fish? It's a recurring question in Justice League, and one that is left mostly unanswered. Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, however, has given an answer - sort of.

Momoa was asked that very question in an interview with Gamespot, to which he replied, "not yet." Fellow Justice League co-star Ezra Miller, who portrays Flash, also responded to the question saying, "it's more complicated than that."

Momoa further elaborated saying, "I think he can hear them and they can hear him. On a larger level, when he was a kid, he knew he had something special, because he could hear them, and they could hear him."

Momoa's responses provide some insight moving forward in the DC Extended Universe. While it appears Aquaman could not talk to fish in Justice League, the possibility remains open for future films, such as the 2018 Aquaman standalone film, which has now wrapped filming.
