When Aquaman and Mera welcome their baby in the new year, the birth will come with unexpected, villainous complications.
DC Comics released its advance solicitation information for its titles going on sale March 2020, including Aquaman #58 by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Robson Rocha. The issue confirms the royal baby's sex as a girl and that her uncle Ocean Master returns in a renewed attempt to seize control of Atlantis. DC previously revealed that Arthur and Mera's child would be born in this February's issue. The child is the second for the Atlantean royal couple; their son Arthur Jr. was murdered years prior by Black Manta. Judging by the solicits, Arthur and Mera's daughter will similarly be targeted, this time by a much more personal villain.
Aquaman #58 is written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and illustrated by Robson Rocha. It is scheduled to go on sale March 18 from DC Comics.
