The cast of DC's upcoming "Aquaman" feature film are all getting ready. It's been revealed that the film has a spring production start date, and we just saw the cast gathered for a table read not too long ago. Now we know that the cast members are getting in shape for the film, as revealed by this workout footage of Amber Heard.

Heard will be playing Mera in "Aquaman," the super-powered Atlantean partner of Jason Momoa's lead Justice Leaguer. The quick video shows Heard working out for her role, and gives audiences a taste of the fast fists Mera will put to work in the superhero film.

The "Aquaman" cast is also in the process of growing considerably. Temuera Morrison and Nicole Kidman have been offered the parts of Aquaman's parents, and "The Get Down's" Yahya Abdul-Mateen II may sign on to play the villain Black Manta.

Directed by James Wan and starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Amber Heard (Mera), Patrick Wilson (Orm) and Willem Dafoe (Nuidis Vulko), “Aquaman” swims into theaters on October 5, 2018. Aquaman will next be seen in "Justice League," which opens on November 17.
