Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom star Jason Momoa teased that more than one version of Batman may feature in the DC Extended Universe film.

Speaking to AP Entertainment, Momoa was asked to speak about once again working with Ben Affleck who is rumored to be donning the Dark Knight's cowl. "Well, I can't tell you anything about the reunion," Momoa said. "[Affleck] may or may not be in [Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom] and there could be more or less, or even more Batmans in it. Who knows? You can only know a little bit."

While the rumors surrounding Batfleck continue to swirl, many fans are beginning to wonder how his character fits into the plot of Lost Kingdom. Some believe that Affleck's Batman will appear in the film's post-credits scene, replacing Michael Keaton's take on the character who was meant to be introduced to the DCEU in The Flash before that film's delay.

Details on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom's plot remain scarce but Momoa has reassured fans that it will continue to push Arthur Curry's story forward with a greater emphasis on environmentalism. "Aquaman is the most made-fun-of superhero in the world," Momoa said. "But it's amazing to be able to bring awareness of what is happening to our planet. It's not some story that's been told over and over, [it's a] movie about what's happening right now but in a fantasy world."

While Lost Kingdom will be dealing with serious subject matter, that doesn't mean the film's tone has become grim. Momoa reassured audiences that Arthur Curry's next adventure will sport plenty of humor, even more than the original movie. "I have a great time with… there’s a lot of…. It’s a throwback to...," Momoa teased in a recent interview, before ultimately choosing to not spoil any of the jokes. I don’t want to give too much away."
