With some fans speculating that it could be the next Game of Thronesexpectations for Season 2 of Apple TV's post-apocalyptic epic See are high, and a new featurette provides some insight about what to expect in the new season.

The featurette showcases some of the series' brutal violence, with the description explaining that "The world of SEE is expanding, taking viewers away from a peaceful greenscape and into enemy territory." Moreover, it further indicates that the conflict between Jason Momoa's Baba Voss and Dave Bautista's Edo Voss is a primary plot point in the upcoming season.

Momoa and Bautista are joined by many other returning cast members including Sylvia Hoeks as Queen Kane, Alfre Woodard as Paris, Archie Madekwe as Kofun and Nesta Copper as Haniwa.

See takes place in a far-off future, where humanity has been devastated by disease and has lost its sense of sight. The story follows the trials and tribulations of Baba Voss, who is the father of twins born with the ability to see. The show received substantial critical praise upon its initial release, and its first season was nominated in the "Best Action TV Series" category at IGN's Best of 2019 Awards and the "Best Make-Up in a Dramatic Series" category at the Leo Awards.

Season 1 of See can be streamed through Apple TV. The first episode of Season 2 premiered Aug. 27, with new episodes debuting on Fridays.
