Fans of the A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas won't have to rely on Apple to stream the holiday specials, as they will also air on PBS.According to Deadline, both Charlie Brown specials will air ad-free on PBS and PBS Kids, with A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving airing Sunday, Nov. 22, followed by A Charlie Brown Christmas on Sunday, Dec. 13. Apple TV+ recently announced it will allow non-subscribers to stream the classic Thanksgiving special between Nov. 25-27. The company reached a programming deal with Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions to bring new animated series and specials to the platform. However, the decision to make the Charlie Brown specials exclusive to Apple was met with heavy backlash by fans on social media, resulting in the signing of a petition to bring the specials back to broadcast TV.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving arrives on Apple TV+ for subscribers on Nov. 18 before being made free to stream for non-subscribers from Nov. 25-27. A Charlie Brown Christmas streams Dec. 4 on Apple TV+ before being made free to stream for non-subscribers from Dec. 11-13. Apple TV+ is available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung and LG smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices.
