Apple is gearing up for the launch of its new subscription-based gaming platform with an impressive bargain: a price tag of $4.99 per month with access to over 100 exclusive games.

Back in March, the tech company announced Apple Arcade as the company's new video game subscription service, which is set to launch this fall. Apple's latest media event on September 10 confirmed the service will launch on September 19 at a $4.99 price point. The service will have a one-month free trial for interested consumers. Up to six people can access one account.

An updated version of Frogger, Toy Town, Pac-Man Party Royale and Sayonara Wild Hearts are just a few examples of the games included. Subscribers can expect to see titles from prolific game studios such as Bandai Namco, Capcom, Sega and even Square Enix. While it's unclear if these games are timed exclusives, they won't be available on any other gaming device at the time of writing. The games reportedly won't have ads or in-app purchases.

With the release of iOS 13, Apple Arcade can be accessed through a new tab in the App Store. The service will be available to anyone with an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac. iPadOS and tvOS 13 users will have to wait until September 30, while macOS Catalina users can subscribe starting in October.
