Although we still can't say who will be in front of the camera next year when Marvel's Ant-Man begins production, we do know one thing: It won't be filming in the United Kingdom.

Director Edgar Wright revealed to ScreenDaily that while he had intended to shoot in London, between the influx of films into England because of tax breaks and the rejection of a planned $300 million extension of Pinewood Shepperton means there's simply no space (Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy shot there, as will The Avengers: Age of Ultron).

“While the tax break is good for Hollywood films shooting here, it’s probably not that great for British films shooting in the U.K.,” Wright said. “Some middle-to-low budget films are going to find themselves without crew because all the American films are shooting here.”

Ant-Man is set to open July 31, 2015.
