An artist recently shared a piece of fan art showing Ant-Man and the Wasp taking on coronavirus at a microscopic level.Shared on the Twitter account for Ultraraw26, the concept art shows the two Marvel Cinematic Universe  heroes battling the virus. Marvel's first Ant-Man film released in 2015, followed by Ant-Man and the Wasp in 2018. A third installment to the franchise is currently in the works with Peyton Reed set to return as director and Ricky and Morty's Jeff Loveness writing the script. Michael Douglas, who starred as Hank Pym is both Ant-Man films, previously mentioned that production on the third movie would begin in January 2021. However, a release date for the third film has yet to be confirmed.

As of this writing, there are currently over 1,200,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide and over 330,000 in the United States alone. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are recommending that everyone frequently wash their hands, stay home if possible and wear face masks when in public.

Director Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park and Walton Goggins. The film is now available in Digital HD, DVD and Blu-ray.
