With "Ant-Man's" release date fast-approaching, Marvel Studios has begun screening the film for members of the press. Following last night's first press screening in NYC, a number of reactions emerged on Twitter alluding to everything from the film's quality to its tone, wider place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and even a few hints about what takes place in the film's post-credit scenes.

First, here's a round-up of general reactions to the next Marvel movie -- and spoilers if you don't even want to know the critical consensus before seeing a film.

Guys, don't worry. #AntMan is good. Like, goooooood. Also, it's the weirdest Marvel movie yet. Weirder than "Guardians of the Galaxy" even.- John Boone (@jtyboone) June 26, 2015

Plus - and this is a good thing, and pun intended - #AntMan is a small story. There's stakes, but they're simple and human.- Alex Zalben (@azalben) June 26, 2015

It's charming, hilarious, great action, it's got a tight and engaging story. A great heist film...#AntMan- Roth Cornet (@RothCornet) June 26, 2015

#AntMan: Mostly boring with lots of exposition, daddy issues and a splash of wit. Oh! And Paul Rudd's abs. #FemaleGaze- Courtney Howard (@Lulamaybelle) June 26, 2015

#ANTMAN is both fun and funny, and just a damn good time. As much as I love #PaulRudd, I have to say .@realmichaelpena steals the show.- Christina Radish (@ChristinaRadish) June 26, 2015

It takes ANT-MAN a moment to get cranked up, but once it does, it's sensational. My favorite third-act of any Marvel movie.- Jeremy Smith (@mrbeaks) June 26, 2015

#AntMan is definitely a new direction for @marvel - lots of humor, can't wait to interview the cast tomorrow.- Piya Sinha-Roy (@PiyaSRoy) June 26, 2015

Here's a spoiler warning for this bit, which reveals that a non-Ant-Man Marvel character gets referenced in the film.

If I'm not mistaken, #AntMan contains the first reference to #SpiderMan in the MCU.- John Boone (@jtyboone) June 26, 2015

And a number of people confirmed that there are post-credits scenes -- and that they are apparently worth sticking around for.

Recent Marvel credit scenes have been kind of minor, but ANT-MAN has two (mid-credits and at the very end) that, unlike its hero, are huge.- Kyle Buchanan (@kylebuchanan) June 26, 2015

ANT-MAN is a TON of fun! It's Marvel's version of Ocean's 11. Great cast, slick score and two wonderful post-credits scenes #StayTillTheEnd- Brian Gallagher (@GallagherMW) June 26, 2015

Two Ant-Man credits scenes, each better than the last.- Germain Lussier (@GermainLussier) June 26, 2015

A woman who watched Ant Man behind me made no noise during the whole screening, but almost exploded when the post-credit scene came on.- Todd Gilchrist (@mtgilchrist) June 26, 2015

ANT-MAN is good. Not a disaster like some expected but also not a homerun. Has a *must see* after the end credits scene.- Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) June 26, 2015

It sounds like Marvel is moving away from the light, comedy-focused post-credits scenes that were frequently included in other Phase Two films. So, what post-credits sting could possibly get everyone talking?

"Ant-Man" opens on July 17.
