As the "Ant-Man" press junket rolls forward, director Peyton Reed shared how protective he feels of Scott Lang as a character, while Paul Rudd gave a rather unconventional interview elsewhere.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Reed described what it was like to know that Paul Rudd's Scott Lang would appear in "Captain Amercia: Civil War": "When Paul went to shoot for a couple days on 'Civil War,' I felt really envious. I felt like my girlfriend had left me and gone off with the other guy... I felt very protective about the character."

However, Joe and Anthony Russo -- who will direct "Civil War" -- worked closely with Reed so that they could get Ant-Man's character just right. "I was like, 'No he wouldn't say that, he would say this!' It was great. It was a great back and forth." Reed also revealed that he had screened plenty of footage from the upcoming "Ant-Man" film for them.

Meanwhile, Paul Rudd got a few things out of system for Clevver Movies -- or so he'd like you to think. Upon discovering his leather chair made some rather surprising noises when he moved, he provided plenty of giggles and outtakes during his latest interview.

Directed by Peyton Reed and starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Corey Stoll, "Ant-Man" arrives in theaters July 17.
