Fans wanting to glimpse the full extent of Kang's headpiece in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania are in luck.

A recently released piece of official merchandise art that originally appeared on the website Zazzle provides Marvel Cinematic Universe's enthusiasts with their best look yet at the villain's helmet. The image includes the face of Jonathan Majors' character, equipped with comics-accurate armor and glowing white eyes. The headpiece itself wraps completely around his head, leaving only his face exposed. Given that the trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania includes footage of Kang without his helmet, many fans believe it will be a piece of equipment that is donned later in the film.

While little is known about the MCU's next major villain, Quantumania's synopsis suggests the titular heroes will initially be assisting the villain to escape from the subatomic universe known as the Quantum Realm. Majors has hinted that playing Kang provided a unique opportunity for the actor due to the level of variety that goes into performing as a character with several variants across the multiverse. "I think the thing about Kang, even the comic books, he contains multitudes," Majors said. "For me, it's a great exploration of myself, just to figure out how much of myself can I explore and share?"

Kang Will Shake Up the MCU

Majors elaborated that his intention in taking on a role as transformative as Kang was to up the ante and make the villain more threatening than ever. "The first thing that was pitched to me was, he's a villain, and I went, 'Hmm,'" the actor said. "And they were like, he's a supervillain, and I went, 'Hmm, I'm into that.'

As for the general scale of Quantumania, producer Stephen Broussard promises that the upcoming blockbuster will be far larger than the previous Ant-Man movies and will have major consequences for the rest of the MCU. "Coming after the Avengers movies, phrases like 'palate cleanser' had been thrown around about the Ant-Man movies," Broussard said. "[We felt] if we’re getting a chance at part three, we want the film to be big and feel central to the future of the MCU."

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania arrives in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
