Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star Evangeline Lilly is very interested in starring in an all-female Avengers / A-Force movie.

"Yes! I would like to be on it. I would like to make it happen," Lilly exclaimed when asked if she wanted to be in an A-Force film. "That day that we did the scene in [Avengers:] Endgame where it was just us women was the most special day I've ever had. It was maybe tied with the most special day I've ever had filming a Marvel movie. There was that one, and there was my forty-second birthday when I was doing a scene with Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas and Bill Murray. They were both amazing."

A-Force in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)

When asked for more details about who she would want to star in the film with her, Lilly replied that she wants "All the women. Every single one of them. All the women." And as for the villain, Lilly is torn between Thanos (Josh Brolin) and Kang (Jonathan Majors). However, when push comes to shove, she said she would rather fight the Mad Titan. "I feel like I want to see us fight Thanos. Maybe it's because we kind of did in Endgame, but then it just ended up being Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). We want her in the movie, but I would like to see that group effort and 10 women surrounding him and just bringing him to his knees."

Lilly is not the only MCU star to express interest in an A-Force film. "I'm still really into this idea of an all-female Avengers movie," Larson said back in 2019. "Getting all the women together and getting them to work as a team... would be so powerful and iconic."

"Just because having just seen Avengers: Endgame, getting to see all of those characters on screen, you realize the beauty of these new superhero movies is that everybody has their own special skills they bring to the table," she added. "Their own, you know, superpower. And to see women work together, and in that way as a team, is not something we've seen enough of on screen."

While it has yet to make its debut in the MCU, A-Force does exist in the pages of Marvel Comics. Created by writers G. Willow Wilson and Marguerite Bennett and artist Jorge Molina, A-Force made their debut in May 2015's A-Force #1. Led by She-Huk, the team consisted of Dazzler, Medusa, Nico Minoru and Singularity, and would later also include Captain Marvel and Thor (Alison Blaire).
