Ant-Man officially joins in the fight against Thanos in new photos from the Atlanta set of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War.

Unveiled by Just Jared, the photos depict Paul Rudd's Scott Lang as he races down a sidewalk, although it's unknown what he's running toward, or from.

Interestingly enough, filming on Infinity War was said to have wrapped last week, with filming on the sequel expected to begin on July 17. However, that's clearly not the case, as production continues in Atlanta.

Rudd will likely move directly from Infinity War to Ant-Man and the Wasp, which was rumored to begin production today. Not much has been revealed about the highly anticipated sequel, which will see Evangeline Lilly's Janet Van Dyne suit up as the Wasp for the first time.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War boasts a sprawling ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film arrives in theaters May 4, 2018, with the untitled sequel opening May 3, 2019.
