Folks who enjoyed Ant-Man and the Wasp's Quantum Realm may have found shots of the place flying by way too fast, but ahead of the movie's home release, one eagle-eyed fan spotted what seems to be a city in the microverse.

Uploaded to Reddit, the screenshot, at around 1 hr 38 mins, shows what seems to be mini-skyscrapers and a burgeoning metropolis, leaving fans wondering if, apart from various creatures in this microscopic realm, there might be some sort of civilization there.

Janet Van Dyne did hint in the film there were alien-like beings living there, which is why she had to hide and survive in the realm, resulting in her getting powers. Leaked scenes from the movie's home release have already showcased how psychedelic this world truly was, with Janet seen communicating with a translucent, otherworldly creature.

“What would that place look like and what would have been going on while she was there and not up on terra firma?” Paul Rudd said about the sci-fi realm. “This idea that there are other things down there that you could interact with is interesting, and God knows there are tardigrades and all kinds of microscopic things. Treating it almost like outer space made sense," he added.

This may be us overthinking, but maybe with Rudd's Scott Lang trapped there, such a civilization could help him rally the troops for Avengers 4 and undo Thanos' actions.
