Ant-Man and The Wasp Sizes Up Funko Pop! Toys, Keychains

The microscopic high-flying duo Ant-Man and the Wasp are getting their line of Funko Pop! figures ahead of their upcoming Marvel Studios movie -- helpfully titled Ant-Man and the Wasp -- this summer.

First announced on Funko's official blog, the popular toy manufacturer has revealed that each of the title characters will receive two different figures as part of their signature Pop! Vinyl line. Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne will both get the Funko treatment in masked and unmasked iterations, with the unmasked variants running at rarer 1-in-6 ratio.

The size-swapping Marvel heroes are joined by the film's antagonist, Ghost (played in the movie by Hannah John-Kamen), who also receives a Wal-Mart exclusive figure in addition to the mass-market version. Additionally, Ant-Man and the Wasp will each become part of the Funko Pop! Keychains line, based on their movie appearances.

The Ant-Man and The Wasp Funko Pop! figures will be available this summer.

The sequel to 2015's Ant-Man, Ant-Man and The Wasp sees Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne follow in her mother Janet Van Dyne's (Michelle Pfeiffer) footsteps to become the superhero Wasp, and join Scott Lang in facing a new threat -- while Lang deals with the fallout from siding with Captain America's rogue faction during 2016's Captain America: Civil War.

Avengers: Infinity War star Sebastian Stan has recently hinted that Ant-Man and The Wasp will tie into next week's long-awaited Avengers sequel more than originally thought.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and The Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park, and Walton Goggins. The film opens July 6.
