Marvel Studios released a new full-length trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Released during the College Football Playoff National Championship, the newest trailer for Quantumania teases the beginning of a new dynasty and offers a whole new look at the terrifying power of Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. Kang, who has the power to control time, offers Paul Rudd's Scott Lang the ability to get back the five years he lost while stuck in the Quantum Realm. The trailer not only showcases the struggle between Ant-Man and Kang but also offers a first look at MODOK's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's first trailer officially debuted at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022, though it was not made available to the public. A teaser eventually dropped in October, with an IMAX version following up a few days later. In both, Scott Lang, his daughter Cassie and the Pym family are all sucked into the Quantum Realm after an experiment goes wrong, leading to encounters with the Realms' denizens and Majors' Kang the Conqueror. Certain VFX details -- such as the look of Kang's helmet and floatation platform -- were recently updated for a new "The Legacy of Ant-Man" trailer shown at Brazil's CCXP convention last month.

Aside from Kang, Quantumania's teasers have provided brief glimpses of the Marvel antagonist M.O.D.O.K. and Bill Murray's unnamed blue-suited character. The latter, according to rumors, may be playing an alien scientist named Krylar, but nothing has officially been confirmed at the time of writing. Quantumania also marks Kathryn Newton's debut as a teenaged Cassie Lang, taking over from Emma Fuhrmann in Avengers: Endgame. While the trailers previewed Cassie's new costume, new promotional art revealed a first look at her purple-tinted helmet and Cassie in a fully-armored battle pose.

Kang, meanwhile -- whom Majors first played as a time Variant in Disney+'s Loki -- will serve as a primary antagonist in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 6 movies Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. While Kang's motives in Quantumania remain unknown, director Peyton Reed teased how the film will contrast his and Ant-Man's dynamic, stating, "It struck me as interesting to take the tiniest Avengers -- in some people's minds maybe the least powerful Avengers -- and put them up against the most powerful force in the multiverse."

Quantumania will officially kick off Phase 5 of the MCU when it releases in February 2023 and, according to Reed, will have major repercussions on the MCU going forward. "It's our third movie. It's this trilogy now," he said. "But things happen in this movie that are going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe permanently. And it's fun for us that Scott Lang is at the center of that change."

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania arrives in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.
