Ant-Man 3 star Paul Rudd reportedly took a stab at penning the third film's script, which would have featured appearances by popular Marvel villain M.O.D.O.K. as well as the organization A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics).

Geeks WorldWide reported the news regarding Rudd's script, stating both and A.I.M. and M.O.D.O.K. were planned to be the film's main villains. No further information was given about the script's other plot details.

First introduced in 1966's Strange Tales #146, A.I.M. is a villainous organization responsible for the creation of M.O.D.O.K., aka Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing. A.I.M. has already made a Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance in 2013's Iron Man 3. 

As for M.O.D.O.K., he is a mutated human with several powers, including super intellect and psychic abilities. The villain has been featured in a multitude of Marvel comics and animated TV series like Iron Man: Armored Adventures, The Super Hero Squad Show and Avengers Assemble. An animated series starring M.O.D.O.K. is currently in the works with Patton Oswalt starring and executive producing.

No official plot details have been released for the third Ant-Man film, but much of the main cast is expected to return, including Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas. Peyton Reed, who directed the first two Ant-Man films, will return to direct the third. There is no official release date as of yet.
