Judy Greer, who played Maggie Lang in the first two Ant-Man movies, is seemingly not set to return in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

When asked by ScreenRant about her potential return in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Greer replied, “I haven’t been told anything so I guess I’m not in it. I’m actually not, I’m terrible at [keeping secrets]. I always tell people like, ‘Just don’t tell me if you don’t want me to tell everyone.’ No one has contacted me and feel free to print that, that I’m very available and very willing to go.”

Maggie is the mother of Cassie Lang and the ex-wife of Scott Lang/Ant-Man, having divorced him during his time in prison. After their break-up, Maggie began dating Jim Paxton, and the two eventually married. Bobby Cannavale, who plays Jim, remarked late last year that he wasn't certain if he'd be returning to the franchise, so it's entirely possible neither he nor his on-screen wife will appear in the film. That being said, something may change before Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania releases, as the movie is relatively early in the filming process.

Currently, the exact plot of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is unknown. However, a number of key characters from previous movies are set to reprise their roles, including Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne/Wasp, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne. They'll be joined by Jonathan Majors, who is playing Kang the Conqueror after making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as an alternate version of the character in Disney+'s Loki.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the third movie in the titular hero's solo series and his first of Phase Four of the MCU. The original Ant-Man released in 2015 and earned over $500 million at the worldwide box office. Currently, that debut film holds an 83 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. A sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, released in 2018 and did marginally better at the box office, earning $622 million and netting a strong 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Directed by Peyton Reed and written by Jeff Loveness, filming on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania began earlier this year and the movie is expected to release on Feb. 17, 2023.
