Ansel Elgort is being eyed to lead the feature adaptation of "Dungeons and Dragons," which is currently in development at Warner Bros.

According to Deadline, the "Divergent" franchise and "Fault in Our Stars" actor is in talks to star in the film, with Vin Diesel rumored to co-star. The film is based on the  fantasy table top role-playing game that has been celebrated by geek gamers for decades.

David Leslie Johnson ("The Conjuring 2")  has already written the script for "Dungeons and Dragons" and "Goosebumps" director Rob Letterman has signed on to helm the project. The studio is developing the property in the hopes of launching a new franchise.
