Anna Kendrick knows exactly which Marvel Comics superhero she wants to play. During an interview with Net-A-Porter, the "Pitch Perfect" star revealed which Marvel character she'd like to bring to life on screen.

"My brother sent me a Squirrel Girl comic because he thinks I should [play her]. I don't know what Squirrel Girl does other than be half squirrel, but I could be half squirrel!" she shared.

Doreen Green may have a silly name in the comics, but her powers are nothing to laugh about; the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl has fought (and defeated!) notorious villains like Doctor Doom. In addition to her prehensile tail, she has an arsenal of superpowers that includes superhuman strength, agility and an extensive knowledge of squirrel language. However, there's no word on whether Marvel has any plans to adapt the character to the screen.

Of course, Kendrick is no stranger to comic book franchises. She played Stacey Pilgrim, Scott Pilgrim's younger sister, in Edgar Wright's cult classic film "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" in 2010. She has also appeared in hit franchises like "Twilight" and "Pitch Perfect."
