The relationship between siblings is often tough to illustrate in media, seeing how it involves a multitude of emotions and shared history. It’s the same in anime as well, though it’s even rarer to see healthy relationships between siblings. Several anime sibling bonds shown on screen are toxic and unhealthy.
Yet, for all the strained anime-sibling bonds, there are just as many adorable ones. These brothers and sisters care for one another and are (usually) happy to see each other. These siblings stand up for their brothers and sisters and always forgive each other when they fight. Too many anime sibling groups are toxic, which makes finding adorable sibling relationships all the more satisfying.

Please Take My Brother Away!; 4 Seasons, 60 Episodes
For every bad sibling relationship, there’s always that one show that couldn’t be more on point when it comes to the love (or lack thereof) between a sister and her brother. Take My Brother Away may have an ominous title, but it's not nearly as toxic as it sounds.
This short comedy series focuses entirely on the love-hate relationship between Shi Miao and Shi Fen, who always try to prank and one-up the other. It also features their many eclectic friends. The brother and sister pair love causing trouble for each other, but do not hesitate to swoop in and save their sibling when things become serious. Miao and Fen are adorable for how much they mirror real-life siblings, but their constant bickering can be off-putting.

My Hero Academia; 6 Seasons, 144 Episodes
Arguably one of the best relationships in My Hero Academia, Tensei and Tenya Iida are the ideal sibling duo. The amount of mutual love and respect they have for each other simply brings tears to fans’ eyes. Tenya admires his big brother and strives to be just like him when he grows up.
Similarly, Tensei couldn’t be prouder of his younger brother, who he considers to be more talented than himself. More importantly, Tenya's character arc is intrinsically linked to his brother's attack and life-altering injury, forcing him to evolve beyond his limitations and achieve his personal Plus Ultra goals.

Hakkenden: Eight Dogs Of The East; 2 Seasons, 26 Episodes
Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East is an adaptation of Miyuki Abe's eponymous manga, which is in turn based on Kyokutei Bakin's 19th-century epic saga titled Nansō Satomi Hakkenden. This 26-episode series incorporates a wide range of supernatural elements, including demons and magic. Siblings Shino and Hamaji adopted each other after a fire in their village consumed everything and everybody they knew.

Both have their own struggles to deal with, but at the end of the day, both know they can count on the other person fully. The trust that these two share between them is absolute.
