8 Hidan's Immortality Means There Is Little For Him To Fear

Hidan Naruto

Most Naruto villains are complex, possessing a sense of morality that has been distorted by personal suffering. This isn't the case for Hidan. The Akatsuki member kills for no other reason than pleasure, though he does do it in the name of his god, Jashin. Hidan is blessed with immortality: he can't die no matter how severe the wound.

This somewhat explains his reckless battle style and personal philosophy. However, some might argue that when Shikamaru stood over Hidan and buried him alive, a look of fear could be seen for a brief moment.

Gon Determined Hunter x Hunter

Gon is the main character of the popular Hunter x Hunter and an archetypal protagonist. His prodigious talent is wielded by an impulsive and reckless personality that sometimes gets him into trouble. However, more often than not, Gon's fearless attitude aids him in battle.

During his fight with Genthru, Gon willingly sacrificed his arm so that he could defeat the stronger Hunter. Furthermore, hellbent on avenging Kite's death, Gon fearlessly stood up to Neferpitou, a Chimera Ant whose aura alone scared Knov into retirement. Both of these fights ended in a win for Gon despite his underdog status.

He is a supremely talented rookie, displaying a proficiency for combat that few can match. Combine this with a fearless attitude and he's a difficult opponent for practically anyone.

However, unlike most on this list, Bakugo's attitude isn't truly reflective of his ability. There are many Heroes and Villains stronger than the Bakugo and one of these days, his fearless attitude might cause him to bite off more than he can chew.

Goku's love for fighting is well known among those within and without the Dragon Ball world. There's nothing he'd rather be doing than fighting. His love for battle is encoded in his Saiyan DNA, and the lovable protagonist seeks powerful opponents to test him.

Although extraordinarily powerful, Goku has faced stronger opponents and lost. But this just burgeoned his desire for strength and Goku returned to avenge his defeat. Additionally, the Saiyan has died and been brought back to life, so it might be difficult to fear the consequences of a fight if he knows that death is impermanent.
