In revisiting the series, fans may find themselves relating to different characters than they once did while watching 2o years ago. As the fans have changed, so has their interpretations of the characters. Now using astrology Inuyasha fans can find a new character to identify with.

12 Aries: Kaede

Kaede is mentally one of the strongest characters in Inuyasha. When she was younger, she suffered an injury that caused her to lose an eye and she also lost her older sister Kikyo. She had to quickly mature to fill in the responsibilities Kikyo left behind. Although she doesn't have the same exact abilities as Kikyo, Kaede does have powers of her own.

Regardless of the hardships she faced, Kaede remains optimistic that order would be restored. These characteristics are in line with those of an Aries. She is witty and can go toe to toe with Inuyasha but is also wise and sought out for advice by everyone.

11 Taurus: Inuyasha

From the moment Inuyasha appears on the screen, it is clear that he is loudmouthed, brash, and rude. He has an attitude problem and believes he can fight his way through any issue. At first, he comes off as cold and aloof but is later revealed to be caring, in his own way.

With his stubborn attitude and know it all ways, Inuyasha is a Taurus. He is rough around the edges but under that exterior, he is dependable and loving. Even though he argues with Kagome all the time, he will stop at nothing to make sure she's safe.

10 Gemini: Miroku

Miroku is either loved or hated, there is no in-between. At times, Miroku can feel like two different characters. He's a monk who is seeking revenge on Naraku for cursing his family with the Wind Tunnel. He is smart and cunning, often times the voice of reason. He can think things through intelligently and quickly adapt to new information. On the other hand, he is perverted and highly inappropriate when women are involved.

This duality matches that of a Gemini. Despite his great qualities, Miroku has his imperfections which bring him down. For someone who is so smart, he can't see how his treatment of women is wrong.

9 Cancer: Shippo

Shippo angry in Inuyasha.

Shippo is the baby of the group, often being reminded that he's just a child. However, his larger than life personality shines through his tiny body. An orphaned fox-demon, Shippo quickly fits in with Inuyasha and Kagome, and later Sango and Miroku. He has the biggest heart and cares deeply about every group member.

Shippo's emotions and sensitivity lead him to be a Cancer. He does not often have emotional outbursts, but he is highly aware of other's emotions. He is also intuitive and can pick up on when things are not quite right.

8 Leo: Koga

Koga from Inuyasha looking fierce.

As the leader of the Wolf Tribe, Koga is a strong and passionate individual. Although he does not initially exhibit compassion towards humans, Koga cares deeply about his tribe, to the point of putting his life on the line to avenge their deaths.

It is fitting that this leader would be a Leo. Koga displays the utmost loyalty to his tribe and is also hot-headed and arrogant. In his pursuit of Kagome, Koga doesn’t hide how self-centered he is, believing he is the best choice for her.

7 Virgo: Rin

Rin offends Jaken in Inuyasha

Rin, like most of the characters on Inuyasha, has not had an easy past. She is an orphan and was ostracized by the people in her village. When Rin meets Sesshomaru, she is mute. Despite having nothing, she does all she can to get him food. This causes her to get beat up by the men in her village, yet, she still returns to aid Sesshomaru. Rin ends up accompanying him on his journey.

Rin's innocence and willingness to join Sesshomaru despite the fact that he is a demon speaks to that of a Virgo. She is loyal and happy to be included. She is also kind to everyone else.

6 Libra: Sango

Coming from a family of Demon Slayers, Sango knows a thing or two about strength. Physically, Sango can slay hundreds of demons, has incredible motion, and carries the Hiraikotsu, a weapon that weighs as much as she does. Emotionally, Sango has been through a lot. Losing her family, village, and having her brother Kohaku become a pawn of Naraku.

No matter how hard her life has gotten, Sango carries on. As a Libra, she is resilient and loving. She values justice and will try to do what's right. Once her mind is made up, Sango will do whatever it takes to get it done.

5 Scorpio: Kikyo

Kikyo 1 Inuyasha

What starts as a loving and compassionate person turns into a deeply scorned and manipulative individual. In her first life, Kikyo was fiery and powerful. As a priestess, she helped all those she needed to and displayed a lot of kindness. However, all that changed after Naraku’s trap. In her resurrection, Kikyo turned into a frigid and vengeful person.

As a Scorpio in both her old and new life, Kikyo is strong-willed. Unfortunately, the betrayal brought out all the negative Scorpio traits. Even after learning the truth, Kikyo is set on seeking revenge on Inuyasha and does not care to hurt Kagome along the way.

4 Sagittarius: Naraku

Naruku Inuyasha

When it comes to villains, no one is harder to figure out than Naraku. Often his actions do not match with the motives he tells others. He paints a picture of being power-driven and having no emotions, yet his actions, especially those involving Kikyo, paint a different picture.

Naraku portrays all the negative traits of a Sagittarius. He is self-absorbed. He doesn’t care who or what he destroys to get to his end goal. He creates incarnations of himself and treats them badly. Naraku has proven time and time again he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

3 Capricorn: Sesshomaru

Sesshomaru from Inuyasha.

If there is anyone on Inuyasha who plays by no one's rules, it is Sesshomaru. His only motivation is to defeat his brother, Inuyasha. Despite the meddling of Naraku and the others, Sesshomaru’s driven nature allows him to focus on his one goal.

Like a Capricorn, Sesshomaru has a one-track mind. All his moves are calculated and he does not allow anyone else to impact what he has set out to do. Sesshomaru is not easily impressed and despite having people close to him, he is ultimately independent.

2 Aquarius: Kagura

Inuyasha's kagura

For some time, it can be hard to decipher who Kagura is and her real motivations. She was created by Naraku as an incarnation, and he is holding her heart captive. She works for him, killing and causing destruction without care although she is also trying to escape him.

Kagura moves like an Aquarius. She is inconsistent, working with Naraku but secretly plotting against him. She shows no care for anyone but herself and has her own agenda.

1 Pisces: Kagome

At only fifteen years old, Kagome leaves the world she knows and decides to roam feudal-era Japan solely based on her feelings. She decides to fight along with everyone against Naraku because she hates how much he has hurt them. Aside from her priestess powers, she is intuitive and can read the emotions of others. She has her sensitive moments but her heart is strong.

Kagome is none other than a Pisces, a sign known for being the most emotionally intelligent of the Zodiac. Kagome may have moments where her emotions get the best of her but combined with her intuition, she can always get back on track.
