Misuzu's life is incredibly lonely, and fans want to see her find someone who could make her happy. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be. At the end of the series, Musuzu dies in her adopted mother's arms, ending the winged maiden's curse. Until her last day, Misuzu is a happy girl who sees the best in people. She deserves a happy ending more than anyone. The fact that she doesn't get it is why Air is considered one of the saddest anime series.

4 Nezuko Fights Herself To Protect Her Loved Ones

Tanjiro from Demon Slayer suffers through the death of his family and his sister being turned into a demon, but Nezuko suffers twice as much as her brother. The downside of Nezuko being turned is she's barely able to keep ahold of her humanity. She can't speak, and it's difficult for her to stand the sight and taste of human blood. Despite that, it's clear that Nezuko deeply cares for her brother and wants to protect him. She remains a good person through adversity, which is why she deserves to be happy.

3 Mikasa Deserves A Life Free Of Violence

Attack on Titan is a dark series, especially when it comes to Mikasa's story. She's nearly sold after witnessing the death of both her parents, and only a year after this, her new home with Eren's family is completely ruined when Titans attack their district.

Mikasa's completely devoted herself to protecting Eren and the rest of their friends. It's thanks to her that many of their comrades have survived, and she gets no thanks for it. Out of all the characters, Mikasa is most deserving of a quiet and happy life.

Without a body, Al can't sleep, eat, or feel, which are all the things people need for a normal human experience. With the loneliness Al has to face, fans would have been devastated if he didn't get a bit of happiness back, which is why fans were thankful he was able to get his body back at the end of the series.

1 Fans Want The Forgers To Stay Together

It was incredibly easy for fans of Spy x Family to fall in love with Anya. She's cute and kind, but she's also incredibly funny. She's found the perfect family with Loid and Yor, and fans don't want her to lose that.

However, since their family only exists for Loid's mission, it's likely that they'll eventually be separated. As an orphan with a tragic past and no family of her own, Anya's life has been lonely. The idea that she might lose the found family that means so much to her is too much for fans to take.
