Thors was once a proud Jomsviking warrior, but he eventually grew tired of pointless and miserable bloodshed, so he faked his death and escaped that life along with his new bride, Helga. Thors settled down on the coast of Iceland with his new family.
Years later, Thors is still strong and can take down dozens of men with his bare hands. But, more importantly, he will gladly give his life to shield others from harm, family or not, and he won't fight for money or fame. He also understands that strength for its own sake is meaningless, and a person does not truly have enemies, only friends.
8 Captain Akitaru Obi Risks His Life For Millions (Fire Force)
Captain Akitaru Obi of the 8th company doesn't actually have his own ignition ability, but it seems he doesn't need one, either. He works hard to keep himself in top physical condition, and he bravely takes on Infernals and white-clad cultists to protect the whole of the Japanese Empire. He has a strong sense of duty that few can match.
Akitaru's selfless courage is exactly what Thor's hammer needs from its wielder, and Obi would gladly risk his life or give it up entirely to save the world from a second Great Cataclysm. He'll need Mjolnir to take down the Evangelist and her minions once and for all.
7 Erza Scarlet Has A Heroic Heart (Fairy Tail)
Erza Scarlet is an S-ranked wizard in the Fairy Tail guild, and ever since her girlhood, she has been an incredibly brave and heroic person who will face any odds for the sake of others. She led the great escape of the Tower of Heaven project and then joined the Fairy Tail guild to continue her adventure.
Erza is not only a fierce wizard in battle, but a selfless one who has pushed herself to the absolute limit for the sake of her guildmates, and when everyone is backing her up in spirit, she knows no fear or hesitation, even against Kyoka. She does have a personal attachment to Jellal Fernandez, but she could conceivably give that up if she needs Mjolnir to save the world.

Jonathan Joestar was the first Joestar hero to appear, and he was the star of the Phantom Blood story arc. Jonathan fancied himself a proper gentleman, and it's easy to see why. He won't hesitate to leap into danger to protect others, and he never has any hate or malice in his heart, either. Only duty.
Jonathan learned the ways of Hamon to take on Dio Brando, and he gave his very life to stop Dio one last time. Jonathan set an incredibly high bar for all Joestar heroes, and he is probably the only one who could lift Mjolnir.

Commander Erwin Smith led the Scouts, and he had earned the total respect of Captain Levi Ackerman, which isn't easy to do. Erwin Smith always had what it took to be a great leader and fighter, and even when he lost an arm to the Titans, all he could think about was rallying his troops to continue the battle.
In many regards, Erwin Smith is the Captain America of Attack on Titan, a noble and brave leader with unshakable resolve and conviction to do the right thing. All this means he could definitely pick up Mjolnir and smash some Titans with it.
4 Kyojuro Rengoku Gave His Life For Duty's Sake (Demon Slayer)
Kyojuro Rengoku was the Flame Hashira, a swordsman who uses fierce fire-based attacks to aggressively slash demons apart without mercy. He also had a gung-ho and lively personality to match his element, but never was he reckless or arrogant about it. He was surprisingly humble in many ways.
To Kyojuro Rengoku, duty was everything, and he would rather die to a demon than become one to save his own life. He had the courage, resolve, and selfless spirit to lift the hammer of Thor and demolish some demons with it.
3 Avatar Roku Fought For The Whole World (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
In the Avatar cycle before Aang, Roku was a kind and selfless Firebender who did not exalt his nation above all others. His friend, prince Sozin, felt differently. Once he became Fire Lord, Sozin aggressively expanded the mighty Fire Nation across the world, and the Hundred-Year War began.
Roku couldn't accept that, despite being a Fire Nation native himself. He confronted his friend to protect the world and later gave his life to help save the people of a volcanic island from a devastating eruption. Roku would give anything for the world without hesitation, and that makes him worthy of Mjolnir.
2 Minato Namikaze Was The Heroic Yellow Flash (Naruto)
The beloved Fourth Hokage, the youthful Minato Namikaze, was revered as the "Yellow Flash," and like many anime characters worthy of lifting Mjolnir, he gave his very life for the sake of his duty to others. Being Hokage means being a brave leader who will risk it all to protect the Hidden Leaf Village.
Minato was a brilliant and brave fighter who could use the Rasengan technique and teleportation jutsu to overwhelm his enemies, and he risked it all to defend the village from the Nine-Tailed Fox and Madara Uchiha's scheming. If only he had Mjolnir with him, too.
1 King Arthur Fights For Camelot (The Seven Deadly Sins)
King Arthur is an anime character loosely based on the same character of British myth, the great king of the Bretons who defended his lands from Germanic invaders in the early Middle Ages. The Sins version of the character has a similarly noble heart, and he is a beloved leader by many.
King Arthur often cooperates with the Seven Deadly Sins to defend Camelot and other lands from the Ten Commandments or other foes, and he has the selfless courage to lay down his life, if need be, to defend his subjects. Surely he could lift Mjolnir if his trusty sword fails him.
