Yunyun has the habit of helping people but running away in embarrassment before they can properly thank her, leading to the townsfolk believing she doesn't like people. On the contrary, Yunyun would be thrilled to be accepted into more social circles.

Objectively speaking, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby's Tokai Teio has the speed and skill to outdo Twin Turbo, but Turbo doesn't let that deter her. Twin Turbo is determined to show Teio that she's a horse girl worth watching and goes out of her way to get Teio's attention, often with humorous results.

With this end in mind, Oishi shamelessly approaches villagers and uses his status as a police officer to intimidate them into complying with his requests. But before he takes that tactic, he'll often try appealing to their emotions first.

The Ushiromiya family is an elite clan headed by Kinzo Ushiromiya, who sired two sons and two daughters to carry his family name. The right to wear the Ushiromiya family crest on their clothing is a privilege only for those who are blood-related to Kinzo—meaning the wives and husbands of his children are out of luck.

Natsuhi Ushiromiya is Krauss' wife, who is Kinzo's eldest son. Umineko: When They Cry shows her as exceedingly proud to be part of the family, even more so than some of the blood-related members. Despite her pride, she's barred from wearing the crest and often tries to stand out by being loyal and protective.

In Nichijou, Professor Shinonome (or simply "Hakase") is an 8-year-old super-genius who built Nano Shinonome on her own at her laboratory. Hakase amuses herself by making random, nonsensical modifications to Nano’s body without her consent and stubbornly insists that Nano keep wearing the largely useless key sticking out of her back. Nano's body modifications sometimes malfunction in the company of others and embarrass her, but the other characters don't seem to notice or care.

1 Mishima Uses The Phantom Thieves To Try & Stand Out (Persona 5: The Animation)

Known as a "zero" at his last school, Persona 5's Yuuki Mishima is a character who's used to not standing out, but despite that, he wants to feel important. After meeting Ren Amamiya and figuring out he's the leader of the Phantom Thieves, Mishima inserts himself into their affairs claiming to be a Phanboy who will propel them to fame.

For a moment, Mishima almost gives in to his darker desires to use the Phantom Thieves for his own selfish aspirations of fame and notoriety. Luckily, he learns from the experience and supports the Phantom Thieves with integrity.
