When it comes to powerful anime characters, one shonen character whose name can increasingly be seen being discussed among anime fans, is One Punch Man’s Saitama. Thanks to this comedy-parody show, all that everybody ever talks about is Saitama’s unbelievably popular punches.

Those punches could defeat any and every enemy that he faced, including genetically modified humans, animals, and even excessively powerful aliens. However, all of them existed within the One Punch Man universe, which means they all had to follow one cardinal rule – Saitama’s punches could defeat them all. But then, what about other anime characters who are free of said rule? How many of them would be able to withstand Saitama’s punches?

10 Koro Sensei (Assassination Classroom): This Alien Like Creature Can Canonically Be Only Harmed By Anti-Sensei Weapons

Anime Assassination Classroom Koro-sensei Intense Studying

As an ex-assassin himself, Koro sensei would easily be able to deflect Saitama’s punches. Even if Saitama did manage to land a punch on this alien-looking creature, it wouldn’t make much of a difference to him.

This is because canonically, the only thing that comes even close to harming him are the anti-sensei weapons developed by his classmates. Even if he were to be hurt by Saitama’s punch, he’d regenerate at lightning speed.

9 Alucard (Hellsing): He Is Made Up Of An Alien-Like Material That Is Impossible For Saitama To Harm

Hellsing Ultimate Alucard

Alucard is a vampire who is blessed with enhanced endurance and the ability to regenerate his body parts quickly whenever he’s harmed in battle. Unlike Saitama, he’s not a human.

His body is made of an alien/supernatural material and in his true form, he appears as a formless black goo with slightly reddish edges. Saitama’s punch would go right through Alucard’s body, not even making a small dent in his appearance.

8 Rimuru (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime): Saitama’s Punches Would Simply Be Absorbed By His Body

rimuru as a slime

When it comes to isekai protagonists, all of them are pretty overpowered, and Rimuru is no exception. His powers are astounding and it wouldn’t take him long to destroy Saitama – within seconds.

However, would he able to take a punch from him? The answer is, yes. He’s a literal blob of slime, which means he feels little to no impact of external/physical hand-to-hand attacks. His body would simply keep on absorbing all the impact from Saitama’s punches.

7 Sebastian Michaelis (Black Butler): His Body Composition Does Not Follow The Laws Of Physics

Sebastian Michaelis

The anime only scratches the surface of the powers that Japan’s most famous demon butler possesses. Like Alucard, he is a supernatural entity whose existence defies the laws of Physics.

Made up of an inexplicable black batter that changes its shape and form at will, Sebastian is a creature that is undefeatable by mere humans. The only thing that can canonically hurt him is a grim reaper’s scythe.

6 Satan (The Devil Is A Part Timer): The Demon Lord Can Easily Take A Couple Hundred Punches From Saitama

Satan (The Devil Is A Part Timer)

Punching (and hurting) a demon would be tough enough for Saitama, but hurting Lord Satan himself? Saitama could land a hundred, or even a thousand punches on Sadao Maou, but the man would still remain standing in his position, unmoved.

Even with the more powerful Lucifer fighting with Satan (in his diminished form), he was able to whoop Lucifer’s butt. Canonically, only the half-angel heroine Emilia was able to push back (not defeat) Satan and his armies.

5 Rider (Fate/Zero): This Servant’s Supernatural Abilities Would Ensure No Harm Would Come To Him From A Mere Human

waver velvet and his servant rider

As the servant of Waver Velvet, the only time Saitama can get to punch Rider is when Waver orders Rider to let Saitama punch him. Even then, the superhero’s infamous One Punch wouldn’t affect Rider in the slightest.

Even disregarding Rider’s supernatural weapons and abilities, the creature is strong enough to withstand multiple non-supernatural assaults, thanks to his impressive physique. Of course, this is not to mention the fact that as a supernatural being, human attacks would have no effect on him whatsoever.

4 The King Of Salt (Seraph Of The End): Saitama’s Punches Are Ineffective On A Powerful Demon

king of salt (Seraph of the end)

Due to illegal and inhuman experiments, Yuuichiro was exposed to as a child, he grew up to become a Seraph. He has inhuman abilities that reside within him that are given the name of the Second Trumpet.

In his true form, he becomes the King of Salt, a supernatural entity that turns every organic matter into salt. If Saitama were lucky enough to not turn into salt, he would soon find out that punching the inhuman King of Salt would prove to be an extremely futile act, seeing how the creature remains unaffected by the actions of humans.

3 Father (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood): A Literal God Can Handle A Few Punches From A Human

Father from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

Even if Saitama were the strongest human being on the planet, there is no way he’d be able to hurt a literal God. After he absorbed the Entity that resided beyond the Gate, Father gained the capacity to even reverse the natural law of the world.

The only way Saitamsa would even land a punch on this creature is only when the creature would allow that to happen. Even then, the superhero's punches wouldn't make any difference to Father.

2 Cheng Hua (Heaven’s Official Blessing): For This Devastation Class Demon, Saitama Is Nothing More Than An Ant

Cheng Hua (Heaven’s Official Blessing)

This Devastation class demon is one of the Four Great Calamities. One of his annihilation of his enemies resulted in a rain of blood falling, due to which he earned the nickname Crimson Rain Sought Flower.

As a high-ranking demon, he can manipulate his appearance at will. He does not have a true human body, which means Saitama’s punches would be ineffective against him. His one true weakness is his ashes – whoever possesses them, holds his life in their hands.

1 Amira (Rage Of Bahumat): Thanks To The God Key, Amira Can Never Be Defeated By A Mere Human

Amira (Rage Of Bahumat)

Amira is a hybrid, a result of a relationship between a demon and an angel. Expectedly, her physical abilities, powers, and endurance are off the charts. In fact, they are much more than Saitama’s stats.

An example of this would be when she literally fell from Heaven, but did not have a single scratch on her body. She also immediately stood and walked away. The God Key within her also provides her with unimaginable powers, and Saitama’s punches would have zero effect on her.
