The world of shonen anime features all kinds of unique powers and abilities, and heroes and villains alike wow readers with these supernatural strengths. The world of Naruto has a lot of them, from the famed Rasengan to shadow clone jutsu. But one thing Naruto lacks is the Sharingan eye of the Uchiha bloodline.

These eyes allow the user to predict and track an opponent's moves with ease, giving them a serious edge in combat. These eyes can also analyze and interpret an enemy's jutsu, allowing the user to copy that jutsu or counteract it in some way. So, which characters in shonen and seinen series ought to have the Sharingan too, based on their combat power, their noble motives, and their courage?

10 Izuku Midoriya (My Hero Academia)

This is an easy include for the list. As the hero of the new superhero shonen series My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya has a lot to prove. Like Naruto Uzumaki, he dreams of becoming a great protector of the people, but he has to start from the bottom. He wasn't even born with a quirk.

But he trained like crazy and earned One For All, and his combat intuition is remarkable. Izuku can defeat some of the most powerful villains out there, and he has a noble heart that is never swayed by hate, anger, or malice. He really ought to have the Sharingan on top of everything else.

9 Yasutora Sado (Bleach)

Yasutora "Chad" Sado is a big guy who spent most of his childhood in Mexico, and there, he was a real bully. He used his strength to torment others until his beloved grandfather taught him that real strength is enduring hardship without complaint.

Now Chad uses his fists for good, and never strikes the first blow. He's only human, but he has holl0w-like power that manifests on his mighty arms. Chad is also incredibly brave and loyal, despite the steep odds, and he would benefit from the Sharingan to push things to the next level. He would only use that Sharingan for noble purposes, that's for sure.

8 Genos (One-Punch Man)

To be technical about it, Genos is a cyborg, and there may be complications in giving him a Sharingan. But for the sake of argument, suppose that it could be done. Does Genos deserve it? He is an S-ranked hero and has fought by Saitama's side against many great villains, and sometimes falls short.

Genos' body is made of steel, but his heart is still human, and he fights nobly as a hero. Never is he tempted to abuse his powerful cyborg body for evil, and he ought to gain the Sharingan to shore up his defenses and allow him to strike even more precise blows against his enemies.

7 Shinra Kusakabe (Fire Force)

Meet Shinra Kusakabe, a 3rd generation pyrokinetic who can emit flames with his bare feet. He endured great tragedy as a boy, but he didn't let that discourage him. He trained as a firefighter, and now, he's ready to save the day the best way he knows how.

Like many characters on this list, Shinra is an up-close melee fighter, and he's skilled at delivering heavy kicks and blasting flames everywhere. He's a proper hero, but not yet the best, so the Sharingan would really help him take on the Infernals and the insidious Cult of the Ashen Flame.

6 Nezuko Kamado (Demon Slayer)

This is a tricky case, since Nezuko is technically a demon, and so far, there might be a possibility of her going out of control. She always hungers for human flesh and has to use sheer willpower to keep that hunger in check. She's a star in the world of Demon Slayer.

But to her credit, Nezuko keeps a tight lid on her demonic ways, and she just wants to protect her brother and take the fight to the villainous demons. With the Sharingan, she could fight them more easily, and protect herself at the same time. She could see any attack coming well in advance.

5 Jonathan Joestar (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

Here comes another melee hero, and he is as noble as they come. Jonathan Joestar is the first main character of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and he set a high bar for Joseph, Jotaro, and the others. Jonathan suffered the loss of his father and his family home, but he soldiered on.

Jonathan learned the ways of Hamon/ripple from Baron Zeppeli, and he used this power to crush Dio Brando and his vile minions. He even gave his own life to stop Dio once again, and a great hero like this certainly should have the Sharingan to shore up his powers.

4 Mako (The Legend of Korra)

Unlike most other characters being listed here, Mako can fight from a distance, since he can bend both fire and lightning. But he isn't afraid to fight up close and personal, too, and he is quite skilled in combat. After all, he's a pro bender turned police officer.

Mako has taken on the most powerful sorts of villains and survived, from ninja-like Equalist thugs to villainous waterbenders to pro benders in the arena. He always fights for the good guys, and the Sharingan would help him evade enemy bending and land precise blows to finish a fight faster.

3 Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)

It's time for another melee character, and his small size is no problem. In fact, Edward Elric makes use of his petite stature to disorient his enemies and confuse them, and due to his training with Izumi Curtis, he can outmaneuver nearly anyone, even homunculi.

Edward is on a virtuous quest to atone for his human alchemy crime, and he only wants to crush Father and restore peace and order to Amestris and its people. With the Sharingan, he could more easily survive a fight even against Pride or Wrath, and he would see their every move coming with those eyes.

2 Raphtalia (The Rising of the Shield Hero)

Raphtalia isn't the most powerful character in this isekai series, but she is trying to make up for lost time. She grew up fast and trained in the ways of the sword, and now, she swore to become Naofumi's bodyguard and take on all challengers.

Her sheer grit, heart of gold, and incredible courage make her a commendable fighter, and she definitely should have the Sharingan eye so she can take all this to the next level. The Waves would suddenly become much easier to handle.

1 Gajeel Redfox (Fairy Tail)

Gajeel once fought under the Phantom Lord banner, but he switched sides and became a hard-hitting member of the Fairy Tail guild. He atoned for his vicious actions against that guild, and now, he'll give anything to protect his new friends and prove himself against powerful enemies, like Rogue.

Being the Iron Dragon Slayer, Gajeel can harden his skin for defense, and he can perform bone-crushing melee attacks, too, especially after eating iron. If he had the Sharingan, his punches and iron rod attacks would hit targets with ease, and he could avoid devastating attacks from even the strongest of enemies.
