When Kohana later fell into a coma after overusing her powers, all of the friends she helped worked together to save her life.

In Is The Order A Rabbit?, Cocoa initially moved into the residence above the Rabbit House for the sake of schooling and worked at the Rabbit House along with Chino, who was the house owner's daughter.
Chino and Cocoa were awkward strangers at first, with Chino often guiding Cocoa with how to work in the Rabbit House and navigating town since Cocoa was new to the area. However, Chino eventually warmed up to Cocoa thanks to her hardworking and kind attitude, and they bonded closely later on. It also helped that Cocoa tried to put on a big sister persona for Chino, which helped her feel less lonely after Chino's mother died in the past.

Gon Freecs was an extremely kind person from the start of Hunter X Hunter. He helped fellow Hunter Examinees Kurapika and Leorio, and he was courteous towards Killua when they first met. Despite Killua and Gon being rival examinees, Gon was extremely kind to Killua throughout the whole examination.

Tsukino Azusagawa was one of the three granddaughters of Pantasia's owner. This led to Yukino and Mizuno treating her cruelly, including Yukino throwing Tsukino's mother's ashes on a dead tree instead of her actual grave.
Despite her hardships, Tsukino kept up a positive attitude and helped her coworkers with their problems. She helped train Kawachi so he could earn his Solar Gauntlets and helped Kawachi and Azuma get employment at the South Tokyo Branch in the first place. In return, all of her coworkers stuck up for her when she dealt with family issues involving Yukino and Mizuno. Kiyo initially came to the maiko house with her friend Sumire to train to become maiko together. During their training, the main cook for the maiko house suddenly injured her back and had to quit. The house consequently bought takeout food to survive but grew tired of the food quickly. Kiyo stepped up and cooked her delicious food for the house, and the maiko decided to take her on as the new main cook.

Bell Cranel was an extremely kind person, especially towards his Familia leader Hestia and to his fellow Familia members. He also extended his kindness towards eventual twist villain Liliruca Arde, who initially worked with him as a Supporter so she could scam him and eventually leave him to die.
Despite this betrayal, Bell later rescued her when her own Familia, the Soma Familia, turned on her and left her to die at the hands of gruesome monsters. This act of kindness made Liliruca realize how good of a person Bell was, and she promptly joined the Hestia Familia out of gratitude for saving her life.

Ahrania was first introduced in Monster Girl Doctor when she tried to keep Glenn captive for herself. Ahrania was confused that Glenn wasn't angry at her for what she did, but she was grateful for his extended kindness towards her and the chance to work along with him and his fellow friend and co-worker, Sapphee. This led to her becoming a loyal assistant and friend to Glenn.
1 Ash Forfeiting His Match Against Brock Out Of Consideration For Onix Led To Brock Giving Him The Boulder Badge (Pokémon)
Ash's Gym Battle against Brock pitted his Pikachu against Onix. During the battle, the sprinklers in the Gym went off and gave Pikachu a distinct advantage over Onix, since the water from the sprinklers conducted electricity. Brock's siblings protested for Ash to forfeit the match, worried for Brock's Onix.
Ash forfeited and promised to come back for a future battle, rather than take advantage of the sprinklers and win this current match since it would have been unfair to do so. Out of gratitude, Brock gave Ash the badge anyway as thanks for his kindness. He also decided to become one of Ash's many traveling companions, starting their journey together.
