Initially hot-headed and arrogant, Asmodeus challenged Iruma to a fight and lost. Since then, Asmodeus has been Iruma's loyal friend and always does what he can to help him. Asmodeus is a unique case, but there are many characters out there for his fans to enjoy in other amazing anime series.

In Kuroko's Basketball, Ryota Kise is a member of the Generation of Miracles. Currently playing for Kaijo High, Kise's proven himself a monster on the basketball court with his ability to perfectly copy someone else's play after only seeing it once.
Off the court, Kise is an admired model who garnered a legion of fangirls because of his good looks and athletic talent. Like Asmodeus, Kise is passionate about what he does and always challenges his friends to improve their skills, even if it pains him to do so. Kise also had an arrogant streak at the beginning of the series before Kagami and Kuroko beat him during a game, making him realize he still had a ways to go.
9 Jean Went Through A Similar Character Arc
Attack On Titan
In Attack On Titan, Jean starts out as a hot-headed, flippant teenager with a rebellious streak. Questioning authority isn't bad, but Jean was still wet behind the ears at that point and didn't have anything to show for why he felt qualified to do so. Similar to Asmodeus, Jean used to challenge people to fight him because he was arrogant and didn't think he'd lose.
Since then, Jean's become a true leader with the experience to back him up when he questions someone else's judgment. Jean became a pillar of strength during Attack On Titan's most stressful moments and always proved that, despite his sarcastic comments, he genuinely cares about the friends he's made.
8 Noé Is An Empathetic Vampire Who Cares About His Friends
The Case Study Of Vanitas
Noé Archiviste from The Case Study Of Vanitas is a vampire with a childlike sense of wonder about the world. His curiosity often gets him into trouble since he's so naive to the world's ways. Noé experienced a traumatic situation when he was younger and lost all of his friends, so he's very protective of the ones currently in his life because he doesn't want to repeat that situation.
Noé is highly empathetic, emotional, and kind of spacey. His cat, Murr, often scratches him to snap him back to reality. Like Asmodeus, Noé can be a bit impulsive when his friends are in danger and leaps before he looks when it's time to defend them.
7 Todo Is Yuji's "Besto Friendo"

Jujutsu Kaisen's Aoi Todo couldn't be more different from Asmodeus on a surface level. Asmodeus is refined, polite, and carries himself with dignity. While Todo carries himself with dignity, he's much more vulgar and rough around the edges. Often jumping into battle just for the adrenaline rush, Todo's peers can't stand him because he's so unpredictable.
However, Asmodeus and Todo have one key trait: they care about their best friends. Asmodeus helps Iruma navigate the netherworld, while Todo forces Yuji to stay on his A-game as a sorcerer so he can keep being his "besto friendo."
6 There's More To Yuki Than The Princely Persona His Peers Gave Him

Like Asmodeus, Fruits Basket's Yuki Sohma has an army of admirers tailing him at any given moment. However, neither of them really pays their fangirls any mind. In fact, they both view them as more of a burden than anything else. Although Yuki isn't quite flashy as Asmodeus, he's still protective over Tohru and the rest of his friends.
Asmodeus and Yuki both had lots of character growth in their respective series. Yuki had to learn to open up to others if he wanted to rid himself of the loneliness plaguing him his whole life. Meanwhile, Asmodeus learned to let his guard down around other people who aren't Iruma and stop acting so arrogant all the time.
5 Mizuki Is An Excitable Snake Familiar With A Goofy Personality

Mizuki from Kamisama Kiss initially scared viewers, but many sympathize with him now. He was just lonely and wanted to keep Nanami around since his god abandoned the shrine. Mizuki is a white snake familiar and can turn into one when it's most convenient for him. He also takes pride in his sake brewing skills.
Like Asmodeus with Iruma, Mizuki would do anything for Nanami. He takes pride in being her familiar and helping out around the shrine; even his proximity to Nanami gets on Tomoe's nerves.
4 Goshiki Enjoys Showing Off His Skills
Haikyuu!
In Haikyuu!, Goshiki is next in line to become Shiratorizawa's ace after Ushijima graduates. Goshiki is a bit of a show-off and likes to make sure everybody else sees the special moves he's worked so hard on. Any praise makes his head grow three times larger, but it's hard to stay mad at him since his happiness is endearing.
Like Asmodeus, Goshiki takes pride in his innate skills and carries himself with an air of cockiness. While most people find their antics and arrogant disposition annoying, people like Iruma and Hinata saw directly through their outward attitudes and formed meaningful friendships with them.
3 Yuri Is Yor's Overprotective Brother

In Spy x Family, Yuri Briar is Yor's brother. He's overprotective of her and goes out of his way to praise anything she does. Yor's a terrible cook, but Yuri will lie through his teeth and gleefully eat disgusting food just so he doesn't hurt her feelings.
Since Yor basically raised him, Yuri places her on a pedestal. He's overprotective of her and doesn't like when other guys get close to her, especially Loid. Though not to the same extent, Asmodeus has been very protective of Iruma since he declared himself his servant. Yuri and Asmodeus are very overdramatic and expressive when talking about their admiration for Yuri and Iruma, respectively.
2 Tenya Iida Is Deku's Uptight, But Loyal Friend
My Hero Academia
In My Hero Academia, Iida and Deku started off on the wrong foot. On Deku's first day at U.A. High, Iida doubted his skills since he saw Deku trip and fall while walking into the school. However, Iida came to respect him after seeing the way he fought the big robot head-on during the entrance exams. Iida and Deku have been best friends ever since.
It's similar to what happened with Asmodeus and Iruma. Asmodeus challenged Iruma to a duel. Despite not having any powers, Iruma somehow came out victorious. The results stunned Asmodeus, who had no choice but to kowtow to him and shower Iruma with the utmost respect.
1 Robert E.O. Speedwagon Always Supported The Joestars
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fans often joke that Robert E.O. Speedwagon is the best anime waifu since he never fails to come through for the Joestars, even after his death. In Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, Speedwagon always helped the Joestars out and provided emotional support for them during particularly trying times. Speedwagon may be a street thug, but he's a great judge of character.
After meeting Jonathan, Speedwagon immediately recognized his righteous, heroic soul and accompanied him on the rest of his journey. Then, he stuck by Erina's side and became like the father Joseph never had. Like Asmodeus, Speedwagon is principled and always defends the people who mean the most to him.
