The last decade gave the anime community a lot of brilliant anime to watch and enjoy. There are literally thousands of anime that were released in the past decade and it just shows how quickly the anime industry is growing and it is a really positive sign for everyone within the anime community.

Almost every anime has at least one good fight that really stands out. It isn't easy to choose a favorite due to the sheer number of anime that are around. In this post, we shall be taking a look at the top ten anime fights that took place in the last decade.

10 Escanor vs Estarossa

Escanor vs Estarossa is one of the best fights in Seven Deadly Sins. Escanor, one of the Seven Deadly Sins, was facing Estarossa, who was one of the Ten Commandments. Estarossa's abilities had everyone cowering with fear as none of their abilities seemed to work. Up stepped Escanor, who was unaffected by Estarossa's commandment. Escanor had enough of Estarossa's haughtiness and so he decided to settle things in his own way.

9 Luffy vs Katakuri

Luffy vs Katakuri is arguably the best fight in One Piece to date. It was the highlight of the Whole Cake Island arc. Luffy faced the toughest challenge of his life. On the other hand, Katakuri had a perfect record to maintain. Luffy spirits weren't dampened in the slightest by Katakuri's impeccable record. Katakuri pummeled Luffy for most of the fight and at one point everyone thought Luffy's journey might come to a screeching halt, but a flashback and a new form of Gear Fourth helped Luffy to come closer to Katakuri's level and beat him.

8 Saitama vs Boros

One Punch Man became insanely popular when the first season of the series came out. The animation throughout the first season earned the series a lot of plaudits. The season culminated with the fight between Saitama and Boros.

Saitama thought that he had finally found a foe who would withstand his power, and it did seem that Boros would be the opponent that would finally be able to give Saitama a run for his money. Unsurprisingly, Saitama emerged as the victor and Boros revealed that Saitama wasn't using his full power.

7 Tanjiro and Nezuko vs Rui

This is one of the more recent fights that took place in the last decade. This fight is from Demon Slayer. It is not really surprising that this fight managed to find a spot on the list considering the work that Ufotable has put into the series. This is the final major fight in the first season. Tanjiro was facing his biggest challenge in Rui, who was one of the Lower Demon Moons. Tanjiro required the help of his sister to get the better of Rui. He did not manage to beat Rui, but he did put up an outstanding fight.

6 All Might vs All For One

All Might's time was nearing its end, but he kept hanging on for the sake of the people. He saved his energy in order to make the people feel at ease, but all of that changed when All For One turned up. All Might realized the threat that All For One possessed and without wasting any time, he immediately leaped into action. He began his onslaught on All For One, but it was by no means an easy fight even for the Number. 1 Hero. All Might ended up going overboard and using whatever power he had left. All Might saved the people and his students but lost his ability to fight. With this, the people lost their "Symbol of Peace."

5 Jotaro vs DIO

This is undoubtedly the most iconic fight of all time, and not just due to one reason. The fight gave rise to plenty of memes, which just boosted its popularity even further. Jotaro who had just witnessed Kakyoin and Joseph being killed by DIO. Jotaro was at a disadvantage for most of the fight as DIO's ability to stop time kept him from attacking him.

Jotaro's stand was a short-ranged stand as well, so he needed to get really close to DIO. It is fair to say that Jotaro would have died if he hadn't awakened his ability to stop time. Fortunately, he was able to survive and defeat DIO.

4 Goku vs Jiren

When Dragon Ball returned with its latest installment, everyone was expecting to see something amazing fights and frankly, it did not disappoint. It showed why it is hailed as one of the greatest series in history. There was a big tournament in Dragon Ball Super, and the biggest fight of this tournament was Goku vs Jiren. Jiren, who had barely been tested by anyone was facing Goku, who just kept breaking through shells. The fight was very well animated and it was really a masterpiece. The stakes were really high, but it lacked the emotional aspect.

3 Netero vs Meruem

Netero vs Meruem is without a doubt the best fight in Hunter x Hunter. It was the main highlight of the Chimera Ant Arc and all of the build-up to this fight was worth waiting for. In the fight, the two of them represented their own races. Both wanted their races to survive. This fight was brilliant and in the end, Netero dies from his wounds, but so does Meruem because of the bomb that got triggered with Netero's death. The build-up to the fight, the animation, and the emotions make this one of the best fights of the decade.

2 Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki

This fight was without a doubt the best-animated fight of the last decade. At that time, Boruto anime was really struggling to make a big impact, but that soon changed when the fight aired. Naruto and Sasuke were the only people who were capable of bringing down Momoshiki, who grew even more powerful after absorbing his comrade Kinshiki Otsutsuki. What ensued was a thrilling spectacle! The hard work of countless animators could clearly be seen throughout the fight.

At the top of the list, we have Naruto vs Sasuke. This was the final fight in Naruto. The build-up to this fight was just incredible, the fans had been waiting for years to see Naruto clash against Sasuke once again. The fight was filled with mouthwatering action. The animation was of the highest quality. Naruto and Sasuke were throwing one attack after another at each other. When their chakra was completely drained, they resorted to using their fists to decide the winner. Both of them lost their arms with their final attacks, and then Sasuke accepted his defeat.
