The Animaniacs reboot on Hulu briefly saw one of its episodes being pulled off the service due to a unfortunate -- and rather uncomfortable coincidence.During the Pinky and the Brain segment of the episode, the Brain presents his plan to achieve world domination in the form of an infomercial. The episode contained a phone number that actually happened to be working. However, it connected to a sex hotline and thus the episode was briefly removed from Hulu for editing.RELATED: Animaniacs Star Jess Harnell Shares His 'Batman Moment' With Adam West

Twitter user @animatedplus later posted the edited image from the episode when it went back up on the air. Instead of having a new number all of the text was scrubbed from the Brain's message -- leading to a rather confusing presentation.

Animaniacs is no stranger to adult humor, as both the original series and the reboot have packed plenty of under-the-radar innuendos and jokes into their runtime. The reboot's showrunner Wellesley Wild is also a veteran of adult animation, having worked on Family Guy. However, putting in a number to an actual working sex line may have been a line that Hulu was unwilling to cross.

Animaniacs was first created in 1993 by Tom Ruegger after the success of Tiny Toons Adventures, and produced by Steven Spielberg. The series follows the misadventures of the Warner siblings as they cause chaos on Warner Brothers' studio lot. Ruegger was also behind the creation of Pinky and the Brain, which followed the titular genetically enhanced lab mice as they sought to conquer the world. Pinky and the Brain started life as a recurring sketch on Animaniacs before finally being spun off into their own series.

Animaniacs stars Jess Harnell, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille and Rob Paulsen. Season 1 of the revival series is now streaming on Hulu.
