As Nintendo continues to release regular updates for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players still find themselves coveting items from past games that have yet to make an appearance in the new title. Specifically, players want more items from the mobile game Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to be ported to the Nintendo Switch, especially because the mobile title gets monthly updates with shiny new item packages -- and the themes are amazing.

In general, new items in Pocket Camp are introduced through fortune cookies and special events. Although some standard items -- like the campsite sign, marketplace flag and fortune cookie cart -- are available for New Horizons players who connect both games to their Nintendo accounts, what players really want is the themed items.

Here are some of the sets that could be ported from Pocket Camp to New Horizons.

Phoebe's Fiery Cookie contains a mix of items that have and haven't been ported to New Horizons. The shrine lantern, archway, and three-storied pagoda are very similar to furniture already in the Switch title, but the purple lanterns and Will-O’-The-Wisps make the set very magical and beautiful at night.

This fortune cookie set is very similar to the imperial set in New Horizons and would look seamless alongside those pieces. The set includes a foxtail dress and guardian fox mask, the latter which is available in the Able Sisters tailor shop in New Horizons. The fox-tailed dress would surely be popular, as would the other fox-themed items in this set. Since Gulliver sends players Pagodas, perhaps he could introduce some of the other items as well.

Francine’s Sea Cookie set would look amazing on the beach of any island. The set is completely blue, compared to the mostly pink mermaid DIY set released in the newest update of New Horizons. Pocket Camp’s aquamarine tiara and mermaid dress would make excellent additions to the new mermaid dresses in the Switch game -- especially because they would look great when players are diving.

Plus, these items could make additional use of the shells players collect from their beach each day.

One of the cutest sets in Pocket Camp thus far is the unicorn princess dream that is Stella’s Sleepy Cookie. The floating furniture gives this set a majestic feel and the color scheme of pretty pastels drives home the cute theme.

The Dreamy floating lounge makes the crescent moon chair in New Horizons -- for which players can learn the DIY recipe from traveling NPC Celeste -- seem like a step down. Plus, this Pocket Camp Dreamy pastel wig would go perfectly with the Dreamy clothing set in New Horizons.

Lily’s Hydrangea Cookie is a sweet, natural-themed set with garden paths, frog-shaped puddles and rainbow arches. The rain cloud would be a cool, interactive addition to New Horizons and both the hydrangea tricycle and hydrangea gazebo would make the perfect furniture in anyone’s garden oasis. All three pieces of the clothing set are adorable. New Horizons only has two styles of raincoat so a new design like the ribbit raincoat would be very welcome.

Plus, introducing the items from this set could alleviate players' increasing frustration with limited Custom Pattern and Design slots, since the aesthetics in this set are largely present only through custom codes for New Horizons as of now.

Calling all fairy lovers! Diana’s Fay Cookie will get those magical senses blooming. There are a lot of New Horizons players who have created fairy shrines or fairy gardens on their islands -- and they would probably sell their first-born to get their hands on this furniture set.

Another very desirable part of this set is the wings. Just like the foxtail in Phoebe's Fiery Cookie, it would be great if Animal Crossing: New Horizons offered players more accessories to jazz up their characters' and villagers' ensembles.

Skye’s Lavish Ball Cookie is the definition of elegant, with slight references to Cinderella. Villagers will interact with the circle dance floors by slowly waltzing with each other while sparkles rain down on them. That is a sight we all deserve to see.

The striking clock balcony is gorgeous and would fill any space with magic. The off-the-shoulder style of the lavish ball gown is absolutely stunning and a design that is yet to be seen in in New Horizons.

Sanrio Characters Collection

The Sanrio Characters Collection would make any New Horizons player envious of Pocket Camp players. This collection was first seen in Animal Crossing: New Leaf in 2006, but that’s just all the more reason to see it ported to New Horizons.
